FRENCH INVENTOR AND WORLD LEADER OF THE LIGHTING BALLOON
Beyond a "bright" idea, it was necessary to set up a company and a network to promote the concept, listen to their customers and continue to develop their products to arrive at a complete range of lighting, decoration and signage solutions.
Today, Airstar continues to rely on International and Innovation to move forward. These 2 axes are part of Airstar's DNA. The company was born out of innovation and has been able to develop thanks to International. In 2013, it will continue to perform on all continents, to meet specific demands and to take up the challenges offered by its customers.
Airstar today has 22 offices in 13 countries, 2 production sites in Europe and the USA and 125 employees worldwide. This is a new structure for a SME of this size, but isn't it another mark of innovation?
Airstar's story
Airstar was founded in 1994. Its two original employees immediately knew how to invest the international markets giving the company its main characteristic: an open mind and an international vision.
An award-winning brand
Only 10 months after its creation, Airstar received, thanks to Pierre Chabert, the innovation trophy for its Lunix. Three years later, thanks to Pierre Chabert, the film industry recognized Airstar's contribution to their sector with the 1998 Cinec Award. Pierre Chabert is regularly cited as one of the leading figures in Grenoble's industry; he was voted personality of the year by the events magazine Intermedia for his contribution to industry events.
An innovative company
In 2003, Siemens recognized Airstar as an innovative and quality company when a new balloon, the Pixocom, was launched on the market. As a reward for 12 years of work and innovation, Pierre Chabert was elected man of the year by the Press Club of Grenoble and Isère in 2006, confirming that Airstar is a company of real confidence.
